Tracer results
One of the primary tasks of TRACER is to identify and analyze best practice examples of successful and ambitious transition processes in coal intensive regions. These best practice processes will serve as a guideline for TRACER target regions, as the analysis will be carried out with a broad viewpoint.
The following aspects will be investigated in the best practice regions: social, environmental and ecological issues, labor markets and tourism, financial instruments & subsidy programmes on regional, national and EU-scale, stakeholder engagement, transition of regional energy production towards renewables.
