On 11 February 2020, the TRACER project was presented for seventy representatives of municipalities and towns in the Ústí Region as part of a seminar on grant opportunities for the development of municipalities. Representatives of the Regional Authority of the Ústí Region, the government strategy RE: START, investment company Czechinvest, the Ministry for Regional Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade informed the participants about running or planned subsidy titles and offered their assistance. The greatest interest was in the regeneration of brownfields and their use especially for business activities. TRACER invited the mayors and their colleagues to fill in the questionnaire and personal interviews, which will help us to find shared visions for the region from the level of individual municipalities, to point out problematic topics especially in the area of project financing as well as other barriers of successful regional development.
